Lonnie Eliason grew up in Delta, Utah, under the guidance of his father, a dedicated Millard County Attorney for over twenty years and a successful family law practitioner for over forty years.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University in Communications (with an English and Political Science emphasis), Lonnie pursued his own legal career by earning his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University, where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Honor Society. After college, Lonnie gained invaluable experience by clerking for the law firm Reavis and McGrath in New York City, which later merged with Fulbright and Jaworski to become one of the nation's largest firms.
Following law school and subsequent clerkship, he joined Hastie and Kirschner, a top firm in Oklahoma City and was later recruited to return to Utah, where he joined a mid-sized Salt Lake City firm, handling all Utah litigation matters for the largest cell phone company in the United States.
In 1986, Lonnie launched his own practice in Midvale, Utah, and has since helped thousands of people and families with estate planning, family law, personal injury, civil litigation, and various other legal needs. His dedication to providing personalized legal solutions has earned him a reputation as a trusted and compassionate advocate for his clients.
As a respected member of both the Utah State Bar and the Oklahoma State Bar, Lonnie has served as a section supervisor of the Utah State Bar Examiner’s Committee for over twenty years, drafting and grading State Bar Exam questions for new applicants.
Lonnie is happily married to Karlene Hanna of Walnut Creek, California, and they have four children, and three grand children. His hobbies include traveling with family, playing golf, watching college football or professional baseball, and spending time with his family.
